LOTD #10 Starlooks Endless

Starlooks – Endless

I received this Starlooks lipstick through their subscription box.  I’m a little confused by this product because the packaging calls it Infinite Lip Color and it has the Natalie Corona signature on it too.  It’s a satin and it’s in the color Endless.  If you look at Starlooks website it sure looks like the same product is now just called Longwear Lipstick.

It’s really sheer when swatched.  It seems to drag a lot too.

I do like the color though.  It is sort of a peachy shade with a gold frost.  It really reminds me of Nars Orgasm.

LOTD #9 CoverGirl LipPerfection Jumbo Gloss Balm #215 Watermelon Twist

FYI, I’m just randomly picking lip products out of my drawer.  Fate is giving me all watermelons!

Today’s lip is CoverGirl LipPerfection Jumbo Gloss Balm in #215.  #215 is Watermelon Twist.  I know this because I looked it up on CoverGirl’s website.  I don’t know if the outer packaging stated this somewhere or not.  The product doesn’t show anything other than two numbers on the end.  One doesn’t correspond to anything on the website, so I’m going by the other.  Which turns out to be Watermelon Twist.  I like names on my packaging, how about you?

It’s one of these chubby pencil products.  It’s nicely moisturizing.

CoverGirl says they are:

a balm fortified with shea and mango butters for a smooth look with a hint of color.

I have to tell you guys, this stuff had terrible staying power.  I put it on at 8:30 am.  I looked in the mirror at 9:10 am and there was no trace of it left.  None whatsoever!

LOTD #8 Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter Wild Watermelon

I’m really late on the bandwagon for the Revlon Lip Butters.

I’ve been snatching these up from the clearance section at K-mart.  I don’t know why they’re marked down, but I’ve been picking them up for $2 or $3.

This shade is Wild Watermelon.

I really enjoy the formula of these for everyday wear.  They are light, moisturizing and seem to last a relatively long time.

LOTD #6 & #7 – Mac Lustering & Mirabella Daydream

Oops!  I forgot to post my lip of the yesterday.  Can you believe that?

So yesterday I wore Lustering from Mac.  It was another of those samples that I talked about from The Body Needs.

It’s super pretty, but did have poor wear time.

And this is today’s lip.  It’s called Daydream by Mirabella.  It’s called a Colour Sheer.  It looks like it’s no longer available on the website, but they do have this color.

As the name says it is sheer.

It adds just a wash of color to your lips.  It’s very comfortable to wear and feels moisturizing.

LOTD Lip of the Day #5 Nars Orgasm Lip Gloss

It’s my birthday!  I celebrated by buying myself a little gift from Sephora.  When I placed the order online I had the option to choose a free gift and I picked this mini Nars Orgasm lip gloss.

I didn’t expect it to have it’s own little box.  It’s so cute.  Is anyone else obsessed with the boxes their product comes in?  I had to force myself to throw away the boxes my Naked 2 & 3 palettes came in recently.

I love this color.  I think the gold in it makes it perfect for summer.

I also really like the formula.  I would say it’s just the tiniest bit sticky.  Just enough that you feel like it’s going to stay on your lips but not so much that your hair sticks to it or you feel like your lips are stuck together.

Lip of the Day LOTD #4 ModelCo Satin Lip Couture Luella

 

 

ModelCo Satin Lip Couture – Luella

This is ModelCo’s Satin Lip Couture in Luella.  I got this in a Lip Factory box a while back.  It doesn’t look like it’s available anymore as I can’t find this line on ModelCo’s website.  They do however have a line named Lip Couture (without the satin) that states it is a high shine lipstick.  I think it may be similar.  I like that the packaging has the little mirror build in!

The swatch looks pretty dark, but I feel that it sheers out when applied to the lips.  This color is more of what I think of as a mauve.

It’s not exactly a very summery color, but it’s one I gravitate towards because it has the same undertones as my natural lip color.

In case you’re wondering I’m wearing Rimmel Scandaleyes Retro Glam Mascara in the above picture.  When I uploaded it I was like, “Holy lashes!”  LOL

Lip of the Day LOTD #3 Mac Lovelorn

 

 

A few months ago I purchased some Mac samples from a website called The Body Needs.

At that time they came in little tubes like this.
